The Fireside Inn and Cabins is situated on 10 acres along the San Juan River close to downtown Pagosa and the Hot Springs. Our lodging facility offers a unique getaway to relax and play which includes private river access with catch and release fishing on site. Outdoor horse corrals and pastures are offered to folks traveling with stock and to accommodate trailers we have a large parking area with easy turn around for ATV, Boat and Horse trailers.

National Forest trails offering some of Colorado’s best hiking, biking, skiing-cross country and downhill, horseback trail riding and hunting. After an adventurous day you many want to soak your tired muscles in our Hot Tub, centrally located within a carefully designed Hot Tub building with soft lights, aspen trees and fluffy towels – perfect place for relaxing. Guests traveling with their horses and mules will enjoy using our stabling facilities when staying in one of our 1Brm or 2Brm cabins in beautiful Pagosa Springs, Colorado near the San Juan Mountains. We only charge $10/night per horse. We offer 16’x16’ outdoor corrals, a 40’ round pen for exercising and two pasture areas for turn outs after the long trip. We have fresh water close to the corrals and various hay, including weed free hay, is available just down the road at our local feed store. There is easy access in and out, with a large turn around area and trailer parking. Our facilities are offered as a courtesy to our guests at no additional fee. Horse owners are responsible for feeding, watering and removing manure daily. Pitchfork, shovel and wheelbarrows are provided. We’re just minutes away from the best trail riding Colorado has to offer in the San Juan Mountains, Weiminuche Wilderness and the Continental Divide.
Local vets and farriers are nearby. Required: Health certificate and Coggins for out of state travelers.
